Get into the Windows Settings window by pressing (Win + I) key and click on the Privacy section. Scroll down the left-hand side section and click on the Background Apps option. Toggle OFF the option ‘Let apps run in the background’ and disable background apps. Apps will not run in the background until you click on them.
Uninstall Unwanted Apps
There are a lot of apps on our computer that we install for one time use and then forget to uninstall. Once a month, we should optimize Windows 10 and clean such redundant apps. You can do this through the Control Panel or by using the Settings App. Press (Win + I) to open Settings and click on the Apps option. Click on the Apps & Features option in the left-hand side panel. In the right-hand side space, sort the apps by Size and click on the app you wish to uninstall. Restart the computer for changes to take effect.
Clean Temporary Files & Cache
