Rama Navami is a great Hindu festival that celebrates the birth anniversary of the god Rama. Kalaram Temple, Maharashtra, and the interesting story of this temple
As the name recommends the foremost idol of Lord Rama is Black in Color. (Kala means Black colored). This temple is located in a place called Panchavati in the city of Nashik. This temple was constructed by Sardar Rangarao Odhekar. It is supposed that he had a dream that a sculpture of Lord Rama in Black color was lying in the Godavari River. Then, Odhekar took the sculpture from the river and built the temple. You can also get the same lord Rama sculpture in black stone by Indian sculpture artists.
Ram Mandir, Odisha
Ram Mandir is located in the heart of Bhuvaneshwar, Odisha. This temple houses beautiful images of Lord Rama, Lakshmana, and Goddess Sita. The high-rising peak of the main temple that is visible from many parts of the capital city is its main attraction.
Ram Raja Temple, Madhya Pradesh
